BodyTalk and Your Child

I’ve been using the BodyTalk system as a mainstay of my treatment regimen with babies, children and teenagers for many years now. It is my opinion that BodyTalk is the ultimate when it comes to energy medicine modalities for kids.

BodyTalk involves gentle tapping on the head and chest, somewhat like acupressure but different. A simple kinesiology based muscle testing technique is used to navigate through and among different categories and possibilities. The information that can be attained by BodyTalk is truly unique and all-encompassing.

Parents universally are intrigued by this interesting method and several of my patient’s parents have gone to take the training program called Access which is given here in our local community every few months.

The technique has now spread across the world so that wherever you are located, it is likely you can get trained to use this wonderful method.

Parenting Advice from Mom

One of the things I recommend to all parents is to get plenty of good resources together for the long haul. No one person can lay claim to the best advice out there. It has to be a combination of different perspectives, different disciplines, and different points of view. One of the best resources I’ve come across is Janet Allison’s site called Parenting-Advice-from-Mom.com. Janet has put together a great website with topics ranging from quick reads on child development, evidence that boys and girls really are different, how to use words that get results, practical parenting tips & techniques and much more! First video on Principles for Parents

I recently posted a short video on my blog. I was surprised to find it really wasn’t that hard to do. The wordpress and theme documentation told me exactly what to do. Growth and Development in Kids

In the energy medicine system, growth and development is an extremely important category which demands energy expenditures depending on the age of the child. I tend to take more of a macro view of medicine and the world, so my explanations may be foreign compared to what you have heard before. In this way I will approach common pediatric topics and just give my current perspective, having practiced as a general pediatrician for several years, and now practicing in a decidedly “alternative” style.

I will be emphasizing this topic of energy medicine and pediatrics as the main focus of this site. My practice is specialized in this area and I want to give you as much information as possible.
